Mission

Our committee meets the third Monday of every other month at 2361 Timberline Drive  at 7:00 p.m. All registered Democrats are welcomed to attend.

Macedon is a growing town with a population of approximately 9000 located in the south west corner of Wayne County bordered by Monroe County to the west and Ontario County to the south.

The township was established in 1823, having previously been a part of the Town of Palmyra. With the completion of the Barge Canal (now known as the Erie Canal) in 1825, Macedon became a canal port.

Today lock #30 of the Barge Canal System located just off Route 350 contains an operating lock, which can be viewed during the boating season. Newly created trails line the Barge canal for hiking or bicycling.
